People's Party celebrated its 57th foundation day with enthusiasm across Sindh, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's speech was broadcast online in many districts. People's Party was established in a meeting held at the house of Dr. Mubasher Hassan in Lahore and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was elected First Chairman. The People's Party held rallies in Sindh on the foundation day, but the party power in Punjab is no longer the same, although the governorship of Punjab was given to the PPP in the current government, but the governor of Punjab did not perform any significant services for the party. Similarly, the KPK,  Governor and the Chief Minister of Balochistan are also not seen to be playing any role in the organization of the party.

The current presidential term of President Asif Ali Zardari is passing quietly. He is completely limited to the President's House as the constitutional head. Asif Ali Zardari's second term as President, Chaudhry Fazal Elahi, President Rafiq Tarar and Syed Mamnoon Hussain are not looking different. He also faces health problems but his political activities are limited.

PPP has maintained its identity while being in power and in opposition for six decades, but on this foundation day, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has raised questions about the past struggle of the party by supporting the use of force along with negotiations for political stability.

After the execution of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, MRD movement was launched in Sindh province, General Zia-ul-Haq administration used immense power and there was silence in Sindh for a long time. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari should remember that Ms. Nusrat Bhutto and Ms. Benazir Bhutto were also victims of the Zia administration's strategy of using force.

A leader of a political party should not support the use of force on the people, a politician always talks about dialogue. If dialogue is supported for the improvement of cross-border relations, then the path of dialogue should also be adopted to improve the internal situation of the country.

American Ambassador Rafeel, who lost his life in the plane crash along with General Zia-ul-Haq, his widow, Ambassador Robin Rafeel, was on a visit to Pakistan in recent days. Had an informal discussion regarding Pak-US relations and the election of Donald Trump and the inauguration of his government in January. She believed that Donald Trump would not be able to remain indifferent to Pakistan,  would want good relations with Pakistan and political stability in Pakistan would be his wish.

Ms. Robin  believed that Pakistan should try to maintain better relations with Afghanistan, because we have suffered a lot by fighting in Afghanistan.

Robin  seemed very optimistic about Pakistan's resources, she has memories in Pakistan, so she is deeply interested in Pakistan affairs. She believed that in the differences of the US with China and Iran, but both are important countries in the region. Trade ties between the US and China remain, and economic cooperation continues despite political differences.

The UNESCO Consultative Meeting on Media and Information Literacy was held at DHA SUFFA University in collaboration with Media Foundation 360 to gather input from key stakeholders for a Media and Information Literacy Strategy in Pakistan. In which important representatives of media and society participated.

The challenge facing the media, society and the government in Pakistan at this time is how to prevent fake news, but for this it is also important that the government institutions should provide  accurate information about their institutions and governance in a timely manner to the people and media. Information Commissions have been created under Right to Information Article 19-A, but despite this, government institutions show reluctance and delay in providing information, this attitude should be changed.

The  Shares Market has set a record in the history of Pakistan and the index has crossed the psychological threshold of one hundred thousand. There is a separate debate on why there is such a boom in the stock market despite the worst economic conditions and political instability and why its effects are not reflected on other industries and business activities of Pakistan.

The federal government has increased the prices of petroleum which is surprising, the government had claimed that inflation has come down and economic indicators have improved, then the justification for increasing the prices of petroleum is beyond comprehension. Now the journey of inflation will start again, the problems of the people do not seem to decrease.
